The Color Of Change organization has launched a project with which, through augmented reality, it allows figures of leaders who have fought for racial justice . The launch of “The Pedestal Project” initiative coincides with the start of Black History Month and seeks to amplify the voices of the late US Representative John Lewis , Freedom March NYC co-founder Chelsea Miller , and Black Lives Matter co-founder Alicia Garza . The artist Spencer Evans has been in charge of creating the statues of each of these leaders, sketches that were converted into 3D models thanks to CGI technology, according to Adweek .
